Effects on Workouts/Fitness/Muscle Building

I have read from other posts that many people notice a significant drawback in their workout "gains" when using zyn. I am wondering , in your experience, if this happens only when you are actively using a zyn or even if you sometimes use zyns, but aren't actively using.
Put another way, does the problem follow you into the next day's workout or does it only effect you when you have a zyn in?
