Quitting and the fog
Post Body

Hey just found this subreddit. Started as a casual snus user about ten years ago. Bounced around to nicotine gum etc, not on nicotine regularly, until my buddy offered me a zyn about 6 years ago. It was a lot stronger than what I was used to and it sucked me in. My job can be intense sometimes and the buzz really helps me focus but I can feel it hurting the rest of my body. My heart just didn’t feel as strong, my gums didn’t seem heathy, and I could just feel more inflammation. Tried quitting a few times and the worst withdrawal symptom is the mental fog. Does anyone have any suggestions with how to deal with it? Anything is appreciated.
