I had zero intention of quitting zyns, as I thought I loved the focus feeling and lied to myself that there were no negatives to zyn. Caught a cold last Monday that bothered my throat, so I took a pause on zyn to get some relief. I think that the cold combined with nicotine withdrawal created an intense flu like sensation, as I tested negative for everything going around this time of year (Covid/flu/strep). Anyone else?
Summary of my symptoms week 1:
-Irregularly sore throat (sometimes easy to swallow, sometimes would ache in specific areas)
-Major fatigue
-Upper respiratory infection
-Chest congestion as the upper respiratory moved lower
Started feeling a lot better around day 7-8, but after a long week of work travel and lacking sleep, Iโm beginning to get the sore throat sensation again. Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms around 10 day mark? Any tips to help mitigate the sensation?
To summarize, itโs been a rollercoaster the last 10 days, but I know Iโm better for it and this will only get easier as time goes on.
