So I've gone through horrible withdrawals during my on again off again relationship with weed. I no longer desire to have a relationship with the plant now and I am working towards complete sobriety.
First of all, it is critical to have a strong mindset GOING IN. Don't go in on the fence like " I might do it or I might not, let's see how I feel" this mind set is bound to break you because your addiction is stronger than that. Insead, get rid of your supply, paraphernalia, and anything that reminds you of weed. If you have a weed poster in your house or something. Obviously some things are unavoidable but you get my point. Dump that bitch and give her all her shit back.
Second is to have a routine. This will speed up your recovery so much. You're already going to be in pain and misery, might as well start your self improvement process right away. Make the schedule before you quit even. This routine will look different for everyone so here are things you should build it around.
1-2 hours of exercise. Specifically stuff that help circulate your blood like walking, jogging, swimming and so on. You can Google that stuff. Try to split it into outdoor/indoor exercise. It's important that you spend some time outside especially on sunny days.
Nutrition: This focuses on anti inflammatory foods and supplements, anti acidic food and supplements, and foods and supplements that help with nerve repair and strengthening. I'm going to paste some links I found helpful on this, and you can make your own meal schedule.
*Note: A lot of people get withdrawal symptoms in their stomach. Some more intense than others. I would still focus on these foods for at least in the beginnig. If you feel nauseous take some nausea medicine and try to eat light but if you can't eat, don't push it. Don't worry you won't die of starvation, your body is a survivor. Just please review the links and stick to foods on the list for at least the first week. Drink lots of fluids, water, natural juices, and stuff that gives you electrolytes.

Sleep. This is CRITICAL. You need to sleep, PERIOD. Now, I know this is also one of the most difficult things about quitting weed, but you have to give your body the fighting chance. Take a sleeping aid and do what it takes to sleep as much as you can. Have a bed time set for yourself.
Find a hobby/get busy. So for this obviously I'll let you choose but I will share some tips with you. It's good to do creative things or artistic things with your hands to help your nervous system. I myself am not that artistic so I fill my time with reading, listening to podcasts, study for a cert or something, practice my faith and just anything that is productive really. Just don't be idle or bored.
Please feel free to comment or add anything to it. Happy healing
