Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I'm excited to announce that I finally made it to my 2nd month of sobriety with tia. It's so amazing to me that I have been able to make it this far. Last time I quit I was already chasing the dragon again after a month. This time I actually feel like I've beat it. There are days that are still very difficult just knowing that I can drive down the street and pick up a bottle pretty much at any point. I've had to develop some strategies to stop myself when I start considering to buy a bottle. I will say cravings are becoming less and less every week and it's gotten to the point I can go days without thinking of tia. I feel like my old self except better. I was super depressed when I was abusing tia and knew I would have to make some major changes with myself or I would just keep picking up because of my depression and sadness. I'm not saying I feel perfect or great by any means but I definitely feel happier than what I was feeling. Thank you all for your help and support. Like I said I don't think I'd been successful if it wasn't for this thread, I truly feel it has saved my life. Anyone considering quitting please do. There's so much more to life than just chasing tia day in and out. I know WD are scary but it's a small price to pay to have a normal healthy life again. I was so scared going through WDs but I powered through and it's so much better on the other side. I wish each and every one of you good luck and success on your journey. If you are feeling alone, your not. We all have gone through the same struggles and we are all here to help so don't do this alone. Have a great day everyone and thanks again for everything.
