Today is the 4th day since I've quit using my Juul. I quit cold turkey. I had tried many other times to quit and could not make it past a full day. This time I decided to quit for couple different reasons and so far has gone much better than all the other times I tried quitting.
A few days ago I came down with a stomach bug and felt extremely sick so I didn't feel like touching my Juul all day. The next day I felt better but I had little cravings to Juul in the morning so I decided not to. I was also out of pods so I figured I'd keep myself from going to the store to buy more.
Towards the end of day 2 the cravings were intense, I was sweating buckets and had intense migraines so even though I wanted to go buy more juul pods, the severe headache kept me from getting in my car to buy more.
Day 3, I was already too invested into quitting so my approach was different. I decided to look up YouTube videos of people suffering from tooth decay due to vaping and that made me so sick to my stomach that I felt disgusted at the thought of myself vaping even though urge did come occasionally throughout the day. The night of day 3 was definitely the worst withdrawals I've had. I needed nicotine so badly but also it was the habit of having something in my hand to inhale. I had an empty juul pod (no smoke smoke came out of it) so I used that to trick my brain into vaping. I couldn't sleep all night long (slept 1 hour max) and so I decided to turn to reddit in the middle of the night to see everyone else's experience with quitting.
Day 4, I got up early because I didn't sleep, took a cold shower, went to buy some coffee and have not had terrible cravings all day long. I kinda feel disgusted at the thought of spending $25-30 for a pack of 4 and realizing how much I was spending. I've also been drinking tons of water since I went down sick with the stomach bug so I continued that and every time I get a mild craving, I drink water and it goes away.
I'll keep updating my progress for anyone that is interested.
