I’m honestly so glad I did. 1st I tried the patches and the irritated my skin 2nd I tried the gum, the taste made me nauseous 3 was a nicotine free rechargeable. This was a nice way to ween myself off of nicotine but still have the sensation. It probably took until about day 60ish to really say the cravings stopped. I’m so glad I did it my mom smokes and my grandfather smoked , so it really feels good to break that cycle. To anyone looking to quit it’s hands down the hardest thing I’ve ever done but also up there with one most rewarding things I’ve done.
Now I don’t have that HORRID cough, I’m cycling 3miles , doing Pilates 3-4 times a week and hiking every other weekend. I feel like I can actually be a normal 27 year old and live an active lifestyle. I hope this helps encourage anyone struggling with quitting. You can do this ! It won’t be easy but nothing worth having ever is.
