Hi all, I finally quit after many attempts and have been clean for a little over a month (37 days to be exact). I've gotten through just about all the major withdrawal symptoms: headache, dizziness, fatigue, irritability. I still have cravings, but I've been able to curb them pretty easily with some mental exercises. The one symptom that's been fucking with me the most has been insomnia.
My sleep habits are always pretty consistent, and while I've always needed ASMR, white noise, etc. to fall asleep, I've always been able to sleep pretty normally. Well, ever since I quit, my sleep has been completely fucked. I don't get tired, I have an extremely hard time falling asleep, and when I do sleep I wake up every hour. It's been over a month and I haven't adjusted.
I'm not sure what to do or how long this will last. I used to rely on weed to help me sleep, but I haven't consumed in the last 4 months and don't plan to go back. Sometimes I'll use melatonin, but I don't like doing too many days in a row because the tolerance builds fast. I have no plans to go back to vaping just to relieve this, but I am really close to pulling every bit of my hair out. Friends, please help me out.
