I think the game has an amazing foundation, but the more that I wish there were certain aspects added, the more I can see a custom match mode fixing it. For example, something I noticed a few days after launch was that there was no way of going against your friends. We're able to team up with them against computers and other players but never have a friendly match (Which is ironic given World Cup only allowed you to play against them and not with). So with that in mind, I thought of some ways a custom match mode could work, feel free to give your opinions. Also, as a disclaimer, I know that a lot of things could potentially require more work than it may be worth, but this is purely a wishlist of things I'd like. I highly doubt they would ever even add custom matches.

Setup

For starters, here are some suggestions for how setting up a custom match could be like.

• Setting a time limit for matches to be longer or having no time limit at all and matches end after a certain numbers of points.
• Setting how many points you need to finish if there is no time limit.
• Setting how many points a goal is worth.
• Setting how many points the snitch is worth.
• Setting how many times the snitch is called out with the minimum number being once, or if there is a time limit having it be called out when the time limit is over. This would put the game in an "overtime" mode where the game will end once the snitch is caught (could also allow a team to catch up or make a bigger gap in points).
• Setting if there are certain roles disables. For example, only 1-2 chasers, no keepers, no beaters, no seeker.

Gameplay

As of now, the only changes in gameplay would be the rules set and the ability to play against your friends.

• Gameplay would allow you to play against your friends.

Aftermath

I know that having such a wide variety of options could make people flock towards custom matches more than online mode, but there can be certain limitations put in place to amend it a bit.

• Custom matches can only be played by people you invite, you would not be able to cue up for them.
• Custom matches will have challenges/missions disabled and no exp would be gained from them.
