Payroll issue

Helping my parents figure out an issue with their QuickBooks payroll. Theyâre using QuickBooks 2011 on an iMac thatâs running OS X el captain.When clicking âpay employeeâ, or anything in the employee tab, a blank screen pops up and then the error message âA server with the specified host name could not be foundâ. Iâve tried looking this issue up and havenât come across any solutions for QuickBooks. Has anybody ever seen this before or know how to fix this? Thank you!
