Can you merge Intuit to QB when you registered using two different emails?

My accountant send my an Intuit link to register and upload docs. I did that. Then he asked if I used QB and when I said no, he suggested I use it. So I bought a QB self employed account but I used a business email, not the personal email I used for Intuit. Now the accountant is saying it would let him have access to the accounts. Is it because I used different emails? Of course, I can't find any customer support to help me on either platform so I'm hopeful someone here might be able to help.
