After a long and busy day I feel that I need some sort of excitement.

So for the past year or two i’ve been working relatively hard throughout my days and staying as productive as I can. recently i’ve had this feeling that at the end of my day I need some sort of excitement, such as going out or just having something to look forward too. The fact that I know after my day Im just going to be bored and repeat the following day irritates me. is this normal?
