I’m from rural Pennsylvania and I’m probably the only lesbian POC in the county. On dating apps, I get lots of unicorn hunters, women looking for platonic relationships, or people who are just not attractive to me. It’s at least an hour drive to get to any populated places with a queer community.
I’m 26 and had to move back home because of COVID from a really hip city and it’s really damn lonely out here. It’ll be years before I can move away.
I also just realized I was gay after a few failed dates in the months before the pandemic, so I haven’t even had a proper baby gay slut phase.
Can anyone relate? How do y’all survive?
