Where I am, the queer scene generally revolves around substance abuse and self-destruction, but coming up on 4 years sober means I have changed the kind of people I meet. I feel like I spend the less time with lesbians and gay men and more time with the pansexual gender queers and I'm pretty happy about that, really! Some days I think about when I used to be in the gay bar drinking and smoking until sunrise, then realize that I don't miss it at all. I do however crave the big city every day, where there are more freaks like me! I'd be interested to hear about y'all's queer neighbors! 💖🏳️🌈
