Hi,
I'm a university student that would like to work in Quantum Computing one day - not necessarily straight after university but at some point it would be nice. I was wondering if anyone here had any idea of what areas I should be strong in - not necessarily broad areas such as maths, but more specific areas. For example, I've been looking at roles where responsibilities would include high speed data capture and real-time statistical data processing and they suggest I understand embedded/low-level software development, good understanding of aspects of DSP as well as expertise in areas like SDR.
Does anyone have any experience in this kind of role in quantum computing? I would love to know what other industries might give me a good background in these areas or if you would share your own story that would be fantastic.
