Poly plate and HRT review.
Post Body

So I've been running poly plate with the HRT RAC for about a year now and have to say I love it. The weight is virtually non-existant compared to the ceramic I was issued in the corps and the steel ones I owned. That being said I don't know if the claims of what it can handle are true, im tempted to buy a third plate to film a torture test.

Does anyone have experience with them?

As for the HRT RAC, as light, durable, and comfortable as it is, it has a weird shape. It barely fits the plate that it's advertised with. Secondly the quick release in the shoulder sucks. You can't tighten the shoulder adjustments after a point because it is in the way and it's a one size fits all. Once on it sags low in the back because of this and feels much more bulky than it should. That being said it still feels "good" and I can shoot, move, and go prone.

In all, far better than most on the market especially at its price, definitely better than anything issued to gen pop infantry. It's no JPC though, it could definitely be slimmer.

Please share thought if you've worn it or used these kinds of plates.
