How to set up kit for mounted operations

I recently got moved to a mechanized fist team, so most of my time will be spent in the BFIST. However, I will at times conduct dismounted operations. For those of you who've been mechanized, how do you recommend I set up my kit to best accommodate spending long amounts of time seated in a Brad, and also conducting dismounted operations for up to 24-48 hours at a time?

I have an M4 and no sidearm, NVGs, binos, DAGR, mil compass, ammo, medical, and water. All my other fister equipment is in an assault pack or ruck.

I don't have an MSV, so I can't wear a chicken vest in the Brad.
