After seeing all these videos coming out of Ukraine with thermal on drones, I'm very interested in finding a way to avoid/limit detection, especially when overhead cover and concealment is lacking. I'm trying to brainstorm some ideas to test to avoid thermal detection, at least when in a static position. I've read that foil blankets are a good method, and I've also read that the Taliban used wool blankets to hide from thermals.
If y'all have any ideas for reasonably affordable, portable materials to test (and that don't violate OPSEC), I'm all ears.
