New ALICE pack frame
Post Body

Finally popped a rivet in my original frame, so I'm looking for a new one. The Tactical Tailor MALICE frame seems pretty good, but also during my search, I found two other frames that look pretty good: the Down East Mountaineering Frame/Pad Set and the Down East High Performance Frame/Pad Set.

What frame do you recommend, including ones I didn't list here? I haven't felt like I needed pads in the past, but I'm not sure if this is one of those "you don't know it until you try it" things. My main concern with pads is interfering with wearing body armor.

Should I go with Tactical Tailor, Down East, or another frame?
