Airborne TAPS questions
Post Body

Has anybody worn the new Airborne TAPS over a plate carrier, and if so, is it worth purchasing? I've used the regular TAPS and similar chest rigs, and my issue with them has been putting it on and taking it off, since it connects by swift clips in the front, and more clips in the rear. Using the clips in the rear is incredibly awkward once the carrier is on.

Since the new TAPS has the tube in the front, it looks like I can simply use that instead of fucking with clips while wearing the carrier. Is the airborne TAPS worth purchasing then, if I intend to wear a fighting load I can wear with and without armor? Additionally, I know it has two male-end clips for attaching to the swift clips in the front, but how do you attach it to a plate carrier in the back?
