I am currently 4 years out of college and have spent a majority of that time being a Data Analyst with a focus in financial auditing. This consisted of making sure data was accurate when coming in as a raw, when it is a final product as a report, and all stops in between. I am also involved in working with Sales Leaders to develop reports and automated tools.
I was approached by a leading job search website to join their team as a Quality Assurance Analyst. I would be testing their website when new features/products are added. I would be making about $5K more than I am already at and it is a growing company. However, I am a little apprehensive about starting at an almost entry level position learning Quality Assurance.
For those in the field, what are the benefits of going into this industry?
