How has Quakerism worked out for you so far? I'd like to hear some experiences whether you're a barebones Theist, Deist, or what have you.
I am a non-Christian who is curious about Quakerism.

I probably identify as an atheist. I feel uncomfortable with discussions of God and Jesus, but I find my Quaker meeting in the UK very open and welcoming. We have people from a Buddhist background, Methodist and other Christian backgrounds, but our readings are from any religion (last week we had a Taoist reading) or none (we regularly have just secular poems).
