I am organizing the starcraft tournament in conjunction with /u/snooozie. All leagues are invited and if we have enough interest, I would like to have a lower league tourney and an upper league tourney. This way there is a payout for everyone.

The payout will be 100% of the buy in money. The money will be separate for the upper/lower bracket if that happens. So send me a message if you want in or I will be available all of thursday for you to register at the con.

All matches are best of 3. We will conduct the tournament 11am to 12pm sat/sun. It will be up to you when you execute your matches, but there is a 2 hour period in which we expect the winner to report the results.

If you have questions, post below, or message me via reddit. I will also be spreading the word via IRC on thursday.

EDIT: If you are already organizing an sc2 tourney, please let me know. There can only be one...

EDIT2: Seems like we might not be able to run a cash prize. I will look into it. If not, I will throw in a case of bawls as the prize pool :D

EDIT3: I emailed quakecon, turns out we can't have a buy in, but we can take donations. So the tourney is free to play in, and if you would like to donate to the prize pool, you can. I will make a new thread soon.
