Upgrade tie breaker rules

Hi all
Iām wondering if there are any tie breaker rules that exist when two people with the same status apply for an upgrade and there is only one seat available. I know that gold gets ahead of silver etc but are there any rules they may use such as how many lifetime credits you have when trying to decide who to upgrade when two people have the same status?
