Flying to India. Can I carry my Laptop+camera backpack in addition to my allowed 7Kg Carry on?

I tried talking to customer service, the answer wasn't clear enough that I could be confident.

I'm flying after many years, and a confused if I'll be allowed to take my camera, laptop and other little electronics like power bank in a separate bag than the allowed carry on weight.

I saw on their website they had different section for Flight to India where it is mentioned "Note: Additional personal items aren't permitted.".

Also, It is mentioned under "International flights from India" not to and from India.
