Q has turned my workplace toxic and I'm turning in my two weeks
Post Body

My team used to be somewhat pleasant and easy to get along with. Sure, they are all middle to late age, white, Republican ladies, but we were able to just work and enjoy being a team.

Now, I'm gonna label my coworkers (6 of them) by initials for codenames.

MQ = Major Q

SR = Shitty Republican

CF = Closest Friend, but also Republican anti vax

So, MQ came in asking if we have seen the video of some lady sticking a magnet to where the vaccine went in and the magnet sticks showing there are microchips in the vaccine.

I laughed and said "I'm fully vaccinated. Try it on me, I'm not magnetized."

So they did and SR realized it didn't work.

SR: "Huh? I guess it was a hoax."

Me: Yeah; people try a lot of crap online to falsify

MQ: THERE ARE TONS OF VACCINES

ME: Yeah, but none of them...

MQ: I SAW THE VIDEO. SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL.

I shook my head and went back to work.

A minute later

BF: So, apparently Bill Gates is an Epstein friend and pedo so his wife is divorcing him.

Me: Yeah, but so was Trump. I can pull up videos and pictures throughout the years.

MQ: WE WERENT TALKING ABOUT THAT! YOU DONT HAVE TO BE APART OF THE CONVERSATION

Me: well you're talking about it in front of me.

MQ: YEAH BUT YOU CAN LEAVE!

Me: Alright, bye.

I left and am going to give my two weeks notice at the end of the day. I've listened to QKool-Aid for months. I'm done.

I wish it was something to go to my head of department. I want her to get in trouble for unprofessionalism.

Update: I had an interview already planned before today and I went after work. I got the job! It pays roughly triple what I make now. I'm gonna say this frustration at work gave me extra motivation at the interview.
