I had a lot of fun with this game for the first few months or so of release (dropped it around a month or so after Rose was introduced if that helps) but I found the grind kinda tedious and I wasn't winning any matches anymore, online or offline. I'm a strict F2P player for mobile games so I'm wondering if the monetization of this game is particularly egregious since EA doesn't exactly have the best track record. Is it worth coming back?
(If it helps, my "mains" were Solar Flare/Nightcap on Plant side and...didn't really play anyone on Zombie side, I think I just liked playing cute plants more. That or I played Neptuna.)
