Worth it?

So I have now just realised that GW2 is -75% on Steam till May 29th and I might buy it. So, is it still worth buying it in 2022? Are the servers alive? Is it considered worse, or better than BFN? GW1 on PS3 was a blast for me when I was younger so I wanna try GW2. (Also I have 8gb ram while recommended is 16gb, hope I will run it if I buy it lol) ALSO: is the game still updated???
