I know you can make them stronger through nova and research but is there any other way? Also I was in nuka and faced off against a 300 million might player and I am 140 million might but when he attacked my sanctuary with over 1 million taxis he destroyed me. I lost all my troops and he lost about 8% of his 200K marching troops. I didnt have any troops besides taxis though since they were all either in infirmary or gathering. Any tips to get my taxis stronger?

Question about wall defense when you have more troops than allowed on the wall. If I set it to 100% vehicles, it will fill in the rest of the troops with fighters-riders-shooters in that order, correct?
It will use the highest tier troops first. So if you have enough t8 vehicles to fill your wall, it will be 100% t8 vehicles. If you don't then it'll use t7 vehicles to fill it in. And if you don't have enough of those, then it'll fill in with fighter rider shooter highest tiers. If you set it as 100% cars, it'll use all of your cars first (T8 then T7 and so on), then all fighters (T8 then lower tiers), then riders and shooters.
This is why lower tier troops except taxis are garbage because they won't ever be used unless all of your higher tiers are dead already. In the case of defense that is.
70% taxis and 30% main seems to be the sweet spot for most people (but I do 80-20).
You need to make a lot more! 20 million is good goal.

You need more total troops than your wall can fill. Wall-> Fortified Over view-> little gear in the bottom right corner
