Replying to SMS STILL doesn't dismiss notifcations

A few months ago /u/guzba responded to my post about this and said they're working on it in the next update, but the issue is still there and nothing changed.
Any response from the devs? There really haven't been any updates of significance over the past year, ever since PushBullet went to a paid model.
