One piece of dating advice given to men is to talk to women like they're people or like they're guys. Now besides the fact that you should definitely not talk to women you're interested like you do men. I've always found this sort of advice strange because I don't talk to random guys in my day to day life and I don't think I've ever had a random guy around my age, 27, start a conversation with me when I'm out and about. For reference I live in the north New Jersey area and vist Manhattan. From my perspective it's more then rare for random men to talk to one another.
That said I do acknowledge that my experience could be an outlier so I'm asking here to get a better idea of other men's experience. So how many random men do you chat with in your day to day life? Do you think it's common for random men to just start talking to one another.
