We live in a society now that cares more about sexual consent than ever before. In fact so much that if you even so much as slightly suggest hypothetically invalidating it, like saying it's okay to game and lead people on for sex, people lose it. It's not the hypersexual minority's or aromantic minority's fault that long term monogamous commitment is almost universally expected.

That said sex for money is a term of consent. The money is the term, the sex is the thing being consented to.

If playing to get sex is hypothetically harmful or non consensual because they're intentionally misleading then the terms in which a portion of the population is willing to consent to sex must be decriminalized.

Now let's talk about how this is both a woman's issue and men's issue. For women, it's liberation, it's their right to sell that service (nobody sells their body, that's shame language). It's consent empowerment.

For men, it's freedom from the impossible competition. If you're a man into women, that sexy woman you like can get sex from any guy she chooses just about. The married pastor down the street will probably get with her on the downlow. The guy claiming he is basically anti sex is going to quietly pursue. The line of men is basically endless. If you're anything less than the top 10% then you're settling or the stars align at just the perfect time and you got really lucky just once. Sex work fixes that, the hot woman just wants a Ferrari and you can enable her to make $600,000/yr along with Pastor Smith, Aaron the virtuous and every other guy who supposedly never would... but would instantly if they could.

Of course full decrim is a rights issue for many others.

Point is, if it were fully decriminalized and normalized then the only reason guys would be incels would be about long term companionship and never about celibacy. Many, I believe, currently are because they feel sexually alienated but don't want to admit it's a sexual frustration thing.

Women in particular would have a lot less hassle from men just wanting sex. In the dating world this would save unfathomable amounts of heartache from occurring.
