Would you date the opposite gender versiomof yourself?

I was talking to a female friend of mine who is very beautiful but has trouble dating. I asked her "Would you date a woman bashing, low income man who still lives with his dad, bad at budgeting and mostly complains, but was very attractive ? " she said no in disgust. I explained to her that this was just a male version of herself... Which led me to think are you yourself someone you would date? Or do you think you have some negative traits that would turn you off to yourself?
