Sneaking Friend Into Resort

I'm going to be travelling to Punta Cana and so far staying in Riu Republica. How much security is there at night? Is it possible for me to sneak a friend in? I didn't pay for a 2 person room because my buddy is only staying one night out of the three.
From what I've read, they dont have Day Passes. If not, id purchase one. We're not gonna be at the bar that night, just crashing in to sleep after some tours.
