What happens with all of the lost NPXS?

Can someone tell me in regards to a coin swap, what happens to all the tokens in people’s lost wallets, or tokens that don’t get converted before the deadline?

Take pundix for example. I understand that they will cease to exist, but the tokens that don’t get converted and end up being erased, are they accounted for and burned from the pundix total amount? Because surely this will have an effect on the value of the market cap? Or is it that the new pundix tokens have been manifested and the lost NPXS tokens aren’t accounted for and the the company just pick up the difference as a bit of a circumstantial win?
