Gourds first timer

Looking for guidance. This is the first year I’ve ever planted gourds or pumpkins (upstate NY 5B grow zone) I planted seeds and starter plants memorial weekend. The pumpkins (starter plants) are flowering and have begun producing.
The gourds have just started to take off vining and have buds but havent bloomed yet. It’s now august, will I get gourds off of them or should they have already been producing by now?
