Empire Glass Sherlock awesome looking...doesn’t fit.

Had my Proxy about a month and I love it. I'm a sipper, and it is way better for me than my husband's rigs. So I bought the Empire Glassworks honey bee Sherlock.
It's beautiful but the Proxy unit pops up slightly after being seated, so it doesn't have a seal unless I hold it down.
That sucks.
Anyone have this issue with glass pieces and is there an elegant way to fix it?
