We all know the problems with Puca:
1) Broken economy model 2) Inept development and management team
The "future site" is an unmitigated disaster. Is Puca ripe for disruption by a new community-driven project? How about: 1) Economy based on an established digital currency like Bitcoin. Participants can buy in or withdraw at any time. 2) Because the currency is no longer controlled by the trade platform, insurance and operation expenses should be compensated by all participants in a form of a fair and explicit fee or tax system (instead of a hidden inflationary tax). 3) The cards should be priced the same way the security market is priced: supply and demand. Current price is the last traded price. 4) Proper support for package trading. 5) All participants have access to the same set of features. 6) Mobile-first, touch-friendly, no-frills GUI. 8) Open-source development model.
Personally, I'd love to be part of such a project.

So we have a small team of people assembled with varying skill sets. At the moment we are still lacking a graphic designer and a UX specialist. If you are one of those and feel like contributing to the project, please contact me. At the moment we are in a planning and preparation stage. Expect updates on the direction of the project soon.
