Hi! I need some advice. I've been searching for a job since last month. I landed an interview at a Digital PR agency for a HARO writer job and the company is really interested in me.
Anyone here who works or was a former PR HARO writer? What was the job like?
The role seems like a good opportunity to get into PR but my only tasks are to respond to journalists’ queries on behalf of their clients. I don't know if I should pursue this opportunity since the role is just spending 8 hours in front of a computer, submitting at least 8 daily responses on HARO with the goal of getting 12-15 links out of 100 responses.
I expect the role to be boring but I'm hoping that this could lead me to a better PR job in the future. For some background: My previous job experience is in content marketing; I worked as a B2B content writer for over a year.
What do you think? Any advice or suggestions is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
