I'm the only person in the group that knows how to do social media. I was trying to tell the benefits of scheduling their posts and maximizing the number of people who see the posts at certain times and being consistent and not burning yourself and potential followers out by posting too frequently.
Long story short they don't care, they want the freedom to post whenever they want. "They'll see it when they see it," is what I'm told. They want to do so much so quickly. Though I don't agree with somethings they want to do, it's a volunteer group. I don't want to be too critical of every single thing. It's a team effort and I'm a team player.
Should I just let them make the mistake and eventually burn themselves out and then give them the solution? Or is scheduling posts not as important as I think it is for this particular situation?
I setup the Hootsuite and gave them access to it, if they want to use it. Told them it's recommended because it's easier to use that than manually posting on 3 different platforms. Still no takers. Trying to help make their lives easier so they can focus on the actual activism and their lives and less time on the social media. Im out of pitches.
