I graduated with my PR degree in 2014. It's 2019 and I have had zero luck finding a PR job. So I've decided to go back to school for Construction Management Fall of Last year. It's now the middle of my second term and I've found this neat job opening and that seems to fuse both my PR experience and Construction Management. I'm almost done putting the finishing touches to my resume and cover letter and now I'm kind of getting cold feet.
Now when I graduated I couldn't find a job opening didn't require 3 to 5 year experience for an entry level job which they might as well have said, "network to get this job." But for this job it's 0 to 3 years. So that's already promising and it seems to have very lenient requirements. But I don't know I haven't so much as written an article in 3 years. I practically gave up looking for a PR job 2 years ago.
So do you think I'm too late to start my career in PR? Do I sound confused? I definitely have no confidence because I've never even got a Job interview for PR. Even if I don't get this particular job do you see an Avenue that fused my PR Degree with Construction?
