Yeah that doesn’t include disaster areas though. Looting is a serious issue and could be deadly. The ATF was called out when I was a part of a disaster relief operation in the national guard due to some looters getting into a gun store. They HAVE to secure the area first and maintain operational control. A bunch of idiots trying to do something and get hurt or steal is going to set their efforts back when they are still focused on search and rescue. Cops are doing their job on this one.

They absolutely can and it happens. I’m sorry if that hurts your feelings but that’s the way the world works. Your rights end the moment they infringe on others and people going out and potentially getting hurt or killed by being stupid and going back to the areas early are going to get first responders hurt. Not everything has to be a “fuck the cops” moment my guy.

I saw the insides of the decision making for a large scale natural disaster (Alabama tornados 2011). I worked at the BDE HQ and was in the TOC the entire time. This shit happens my guy. You’re just plain wrong.
