Is legislative experience important for a city manager?
Post Body

Greetings everyone,

Iā€™m currently planning out professional experiences to complete during my mpa (2-year program at Florida State) and would like a few opinions on getting legislative experience for the first year. There is a highly competitive program that would allow for me to work for the Florida House and pay for 18 credit hours of grad school for 2 semesters. I personally would love to get connected and I truly would love to work on the back end of policy, but I'm worried it won't be as relevant compared to interning for the city for two semesters.

Any opinions would be amazing and thank you for your time.
