I've recently found some success getting short stories published in literary magazines, and one story in an anthology. The anthology paid, but I believe the lit mags might end up with more eyes on my stories. I'm curious to know if there are pro's/con's in submitting short stories to magazines versus standalone anthologies. Especially interested to hear from horror authors or industry voices, since that is my genre of choice.
