Do antipsychotics help with dissociation/derealization?
Post Body

I’m just struggling. I don’t feel connected to the world and nothing feels any bit near as real as I know it should feel. It doesn’t feel immediate, it all feels distant and foggy. I had psychosis last year and it was delusions, and because of this my doctor is attributing the derealization as a potentially psychotic symptom. Whether it is or not, the label doesn’t seem as important as treating the problem. Their solution was to maybe raise my Vraylar. Have you had antipsychotics help this? Did you become grounded and brought back into reality? Thank you.
