I think I can tap into my own DMT supply during meditation.
Post Body

So, call me crazy, and of course the jury is still out in the science world, but this is an experience I've been through multiple times now (maybe 10 now, maybe even more, I've lost count), but when the conditions are right and my body and mind are perfectly resonating, I go through an experience that's just so damn intense, yet incredible.

The first time it happened to me, was when I really started to delve deep into meditation (without meaning to sound egotistical, meditation is one of those things I was able to just really pick up quite naturally.) I started getting this feeling like my consciousness was collapsing yet expanding within my head. My body felt extremely relaxed, yet uncomfortable as the same time. A minute later, It felt as if my cosmic self was de-sleeved from my physical body and was rotating 180° to the left. I was also seeing a great phosphene light show, but it was as if my eyes were zoomed in even though they were closed.

It felt both terrifying and incredible. I was so aware of everything. The universe around me felt so close, while I was also experiencing myself as the atom, or at least a pure form of consciousness floating in the void. I could feel every single thought come and go in an instant (like the echoes both before and after). Anyway, 20 minutes go by like it was only 5-10, and my alarm goes off.

I'm sitting in a pool of sweat and my heart is racing. I felt so energised after.

Anyway, cut to about a year and a half in, I try DMT for the first time, and then a few times after that. I take a break from meditating twice a day down to once a day. The experience happens a few more times, but much more rarely and only when I decided to meditate a second time that day. A whole of other psychedelic experiences happen along the way too.

Now we get to last evening. I've started meditating twice a day using a technique I've spliced together myself from this and that. I start off with some resonant frequency breathing, and then I start to focus on my breath. That's as far as I got into the technique, because that was all that was needed.

I no longer feel the floating rotation or sweat, but the breakthrough would still usually take a few minutes to happen. This time, I was just straight into the abyss within what felt like almost seconds. I can feel my Pineal gland throbbing, and my back actually hurting (I have a bad back in general, so that may not even mean anything lol).

My mind simultaneously expands and contracts. Halfway through the session, mind gets board of the abyss and start creating it's own realities. I'm constantly becoming different beings on different worlds and realities. I gain control in navigating these worlds, but as soon as I do, I lose control again.

I try to focus on what I'm seeing as closely as possible, and as I do, I see that everything is made of fractals of energy. It's beautiful, and even though I'm deep into this constantly shifting reality I am still well aware of the universe around me.

20 minutes goes by like it was only 5-10 again and the alarm goes off. I warp back into the normal analogue, and I feel so fucking good that I start laughing. It was beyond what I've ever experienced, even when compared to strong doses of psychedelics. It was so pure and unhindered.

It's 2am now, and even though I've only slept for 4 hours, it feels like I've slept for a solid 8.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Is there a name for it? And can someone expand more on the topic (eastern scriptures, scientific studies etc.)

Thanks for reading and happy travels fellow Psychonauts 😊
