When I'm on psychedelics or lots of weed, I close my eyes and often see crazy, weird stuff. The images are in my mind. They're the equivalent of any image you get in your head when you think of someone you know or a familiar place except they appear without me thinking of anything.

Last LSD trip for instance, with my eyes closed I saw things ranging from aztec patterns to women with zebra heads holding champagne glasses. They were all just images in my head when I had my eyes closed.

Sometimes I even see them with my eyes open if I'm just staring into space and not focusing on anything in particular. On 2CB I saw a huge range of impossible geometric shapes changing perspective, spheres folding inside out and splitting up into sharp segments, fractles wrapping around eachother, galaxies and supernova all connected in a web, all inside my mind. Most of which I saw without even closing my eyes, I was just sort of "forced" to see them by my mind.

The reason I question if they're CEVs or not is because they're not the same as the sort of visual distortions you see from looking at textures and colours. Are CEVs more sort of "on your eye lid" kind of visuals as opposed to in your mind?
