Reoccurring rhythmic machine gears clicking and turning every time I take psychedelics.

Over the past year I have began taking mushrooms and LSD periodically and every single time I reach a point in my trip where I begin hearing what sounds like gears of some sort of machine or engine clinking away at a relatively high speed, that's the best way I can put it honestly. Has anyone else ever had a similar experience?
