Potential psilocybin / seligiline interactions? I currently take 2.5mg of oral Seligiline daily for brain health and longevity reasons. It is an MAO B inhibitor. I'm planning on microdosing psilocybin mushrooms for a while. Amateur google-fu indicates that MAO b inhibitors may potentiate psilocybin effects but have little risk of the "cheese effect" hypertension risk other MAO inhibitors deploy especially since my Seligiline dosage at 2.5mg is much less than the 10 mg dosage usually associated with the risk of Seligiline becoming 'non-selective'.

Does my amateur assessment makes sense?

Should I consider tapering off the Seligilne before taking any psilocybin mushrooms?

Does anyone have any words of wisdom (or cries of outrage and dismay ;-) they would care to share about potential interactions of these two drugs?
