Hi everyone,
I’ve done 6 ayahuasca ceremonies in Peru at an ethical retreat, and while it was nice and I had some insights I’m still dealing with a lot of pain and relational trauma I’ve experienced in my life.
I guess my first question is for those who’ve done both aya and iboga..
Was iboga more effective and stronger than aya? Did it make a noticeable and long lasting change in your life (yes I know it’s up to us to make these tools work) or was it a blissful couple months back and then things went back to baseline?
Second—did your life turn into utter chaos when you got back home before the positive changes were felt?
Did you purge less on iboga?
I was pretty emotionally unstable and had rocky life circumstances after ayahuasca even w layers of protection done w ethical shamans at the retreat (I have no history of family psychosis or anything like that) and I’m wondering if my world will turn upside down post iboga.
